Jonathan has written 65 plays and scripts for BBC Radio Drama (accounting for over 100 hours of broadcast time), 31 professionally produced stage plays and directed 83 stage shows for the UK, HK, USA, Chile and Egypt. He considers his major achievement to have been co-founding the UK based touring theatre company, Red Shift, in 1982, and sustaining it as an Arts Council England revenue client until 2011. His plays are published by Samuel French (now Concord Theatrical).
